Tonight is the April meeting of the Success Bass Club in Porterville, CA

You don't have to live in Porterville to fish, and you don't have to be a member of the club to fish.

If you meant "live in Porterville to fish in the club" or "live in Porterville to be a member of the club" the answer is no to both.

The club has members from towns outside of Porterville and anyone is welcome to check us out and/or join. The annual dues are very small.

As for the fishing part, the club has an "Open Tournament" and this year it's May 4th. Anyone and everyone is invited. It will be followed by a BBQ.

Additionally, the club allows a prospective member to fish one club tournament before paying the club dues. Of course, the tourney expense itself must be paid in order to fish in it.
