Yesterday I only caught 1 but seen 3 others caught all on anchovies. Caralina rigged with a 1/2 ounce wieght. Its fun but I've come to the conclusion That I don't know much about the aquaduct.

Fishing is off the hook at Conroe with all the nice weather lately. With the good weather brings the recreational boaters. Stay north of the 1097 bridge for your best shot. Fish the banks of the main finger north-west of the 1097 bridge. Once you catch a fish stay in that area and fish 50 yards in either direction. Best luck has been using shallow crank baits in shad color casting at the shore. Use a very slow retrieve. Make sure to set the hook when you feel the line pull back.

So if you do buy a legend boat in bakersfield be ready to take your boat up to Inland Marine to have warranty work done, because my guess is that the Bakersfields local legend dealer will not be in business in ...

We as fishermen need to step up or the big city voters will stop are fishing from are boats completly!they are voting on Cachuma march 25 at 9:00 am . I heard they are thinking about clear lake as well. We will lose some lakes and this will make it easier for them to close other lakes in the future. Some elected officials do not care about fishing. We need to educate them on how many people love this sport and who they will hurt like are local boat dealers to small tackle stores. Get out there ...

My laptop died at the lake today. Until I get it looked at, I will not be able to put up the results and year to date standings for the WON Bass Golden Valley region.

Today at Success Lake, Krandall and Vince Bryan destroyed the field with an incredible 5 fish limit weighing in at 38.41 lbs. They had the big fish of 11.05 and another 10 lb. class fish. The pair reported catching 5 fish on the day, all on a Huddleston Deluxe swimbait. They earned $3,940.

Saw Butch Brown in his swimbait 24/7 boat rigged with his cameras and he looked like he was throwing the huddleston all day too, and also watched him land one that was about 6-8 pounds in 40ft of water. Check out his 19 pounder he caught on video at huddleston deluxes site. Everyne else we spoke to threw lizards, worms, jigs, and other swimbaits with no luck. Lake very tough..
I've been going back and forth with this and have come to a conclusion that I catch just as much fish in clear deep water lakes dropshotting, worming, doodleing etc...useing mono over floro. I've used both in the same day back in forth, useing one or the other for the same applications. I use mostly maxima mono, and halo and shooter. I like halo for other things but just wanted to see what everyone else thought.

Chartreuse gitzit, clear grub with silver flake, drop shot, swimbait Hudd or Bluegill, And some sort of creature bait. I have had good success with this but just wondering if there is something new out there I should try?
