Google maps, westernbass, fishing network, and many others a great resources to use, (I use them ). But with all this good that comes with this, lets watch out for ...

Legend makes a nice boat. If you are serious about one my advice is to buy from a dealer who has and will be in business for years to come. My local dealer does not have any business sense. I actually worked for him for a few months, but after numerous bounced pay checks i had to leave. So if you do buy a legend boat in bakersfield be ready to take your boat up to Inland Marine to have warranty work done, because my guess is that the Bakersfields local legend dealer will not be in business in ...

We as fishermen need to step up or the big city voters will stop are fishing from are boats completly!they are voting on Cachuma march 25 at 9:00 am . I heard they are thinking about clear lake as well. We will lose some lakes and this will make it easier for them to close other lakes in the future. Some elected officials do not care about fishing. We need to educate them on how many people love this sport and who they will hurt like are local boat dealers to small tackle stores. Get out there ...

Today at Success Lake, Krandall and Vince Bryan destroyed the field with an incredible 5 fish limit weighing in at 38.41 lbs. They had the big fish of 11.05 and another 10 lb. class fish. The pair reported catching 5 fish on the day, all on a Huddleston Deluxe swimbait. They earned $3,940.

I've been going back and forth with this and have come to a conclusion that I catch just as much fish in clear deep water lakes dropshotting, worming, doodleing etc...useing mono over floro. I've used both in the same day back in forth, useing one or the other for the same applications. I use mostly maxima mono, and halo and shooter. I like halo for other things but just wanted to see what everyone else thought.

Lets all keep our thoughts and prayers for Gary, he was in a pretty serious boat accident from what I have heard. Apparently he got thrown from his boat and broke some ribs and fractured his back, This is all second hand info but lets say a prayer for him. Seen some of his rods at the show, pretty nice, anyone own any? and if so tell us about them.

There are so many prototype swimbaits out there right now that just look and swim great. alot of them are just spin offs of the E'S AND THE OSPREY'S, but some of them are completely new style and they are made with softer plastic and have awsome action. there should be more coming out soon. I'll post when I know when they will be available to the public.
