Went to the lake on saturday and started 3/4 of the way back in sycamore, caught quite of few back in there. stayed in there a while. went back into the river and caught one here and there but since it was so windy we decided to go back into sycamore but the wind found us there too. We went around deer creek later and saw some cruising spots and caught 2 in there. the best bite for me was on the zoom speed worm and dropshot, some bed fish but mostly empty beds. alot of fish in sycamore

Swimbait fish are being caught with this warmer weather. Also the senko bite is turning on too. Oxblood & watermelon colors working best... Fish are moving up

Although the bite is still a little slow, some bigger fish have been caught on swimbaits & spinnerbaits around rock walls and brush.

Bite is still mediocre... Anglers reporting an average 5-8 pound limits. Drop shotting still producing a majority of the bites in 10-35 feet.

The bite is picking up as well as the water level. Look for nice structure. As always the river is producing fish on drop shots (as usual) jigs, and swimbaits. Fish slow. Topwater should be picking up soon as this weather begins to warm. Yesterday caught 12 fish with the largest being a 3lb spot. Hope this helps.... Happy Fishing

Bites getting better, wacky rigged 4" robo worms working for most. I heard of some guys catching limits of 20lbs don't know how though , gulp stuff catching fish too.
