lots of fish being caught,just no size.year before last WON tourneys took 15-18lbs to win.now its 4.5lbs with 5 fish. for every couple good years with naci you get a couple bad years.

Lately, the better the weather the better the bite. Jigs & drop shots, fish are moving up.

Last weeks fishing payed off for anglers as the spotted bass bite broke open. Many spots caught on drop shotting rocky points and shoreline. Water temp is rising and the water clarity is getting better.... (dark blue plastics)

The bite has got a lot better this week, decent size largies are moving up, speed traps, and trick worms texas rigged thrown right on the bank shakin alot is workin real good. Senkos 3/32 tungstin nail weight, in truthfully almost any color was workin to, I like watermelon purple flk, nail weight down the fat end wacky rigged. good luck

The fishing is really tough right now for decent fish, the pro classic was a bunch of small fish, I think just shy of 15lbs won the event for two days. The tourney on Saturday was the same except for Jeremy Burns & Nick Salvucchi, they came in with the biggest sack of the week,12.50lbs. An impressive win on such a tough bite good job guys. . Besides that for me the bite was on jigs anywhere from 4 to 8 foot of water. several colors worked but my partner and I were only able to get 4 to the scales. We caught about 20 shorts it was just brutal, but from talking to everyone the were fish caught in every depth on many things. Well good luck on the water.
