I've been going back and forth with this and have come to a conclusion that I catch just as much fish in clear deep water lakes dropshotting, worming, doodleing etc...useing mono over floro. I've used both in the same day back in forth, useing one or the other for the same applications. I use mostly maxima mono, and halo and shooter. I like halo for other things but just wanted to see what everyone else thought.

mono and floro are just tools in fishing they both work great. Florocarbon is heavy and will sink mono will not. The only time i use mono is for topwater baits. After that it is either florocarbon and fireline
